Because I need a place to regurgitate...
I’m sure everyone has heard about this by now, so I’m not going to bother with links. Repulsive. Abominable. Pugnacious. Revolting. Nauseating. I could go on and on. I cannot even print what I believe should happen to this man.
While flipping the channels last night, I caught a few minutes of Jay Leno. Now I don’t care for Leno as a rule, but he said something that I thought was pretty interesting. He suggested that we boycott whoever sponsors the OJ interview on Fox. You know you’ve done something bad when the king of adolescent humor suggests a boycott.
So, I’m in. Now I pretty much boycott Fox station anyway (political reasons). And I had no intention of watching the OJ interview. So here’s my quandary. How does one find out the sponsors without watching the show? I don’t want to be responsible for helping boost the ratings for this tripe, but I don't know another way to find out who’s paying for it. I want to post their information so we can all boycott them together!
As for now, feel free to eviscerate this cretin in the comments section. Come on, you know you want to...

Well the forensic scientist are getting a lot more leads from that book that's fer shurr. Maybe they can get enough leads from it to produce some more definite evidence than they had before because of the tainted evidence gathering they had.
At least Jonny Cochrane isn't alive to put up the Chewbacca Defense anymore and I doubt the Twinkie Defense would work since none of those involved in the case are gay.
Was he tried for both murders? If so he can't be tried again. That would be double jeopardy.
For a long time, I really had my doubts that he did it. The prosecution did a piss poor job on the case, the police bungled the evidence, and the defense was brilliant at throwing dirt on the prosecution. Then I saw the crime scene photos. Then I knew it was most likely he did it. Whoever killed them did so in a rage. It was very personal. That was obvious even to someone like me who hasn't had crime scene training. I have had profiling, so maybe that made a difference. I don't know. But the murders were about hate.
Oh he SOOOO did it. But you're right, he can't be tried again for either murder because of double jeopardy.
But this book, I mean he's got to be psychotic...right? Ok, we know he’s psychotic, but what’s wrong with him??? Why would he do something like this book, and title it “IF I Did It”? That’s just nuts!
What’s next, a Jeffrey Dahmer cook book??? Someone needs to put him out of our misery.
No he can't get double jeopardy, but he could get convicted of perjury if there was enough evidence he lied under oath.
It was a lot more of an indictement against the LAPD and court system since the case was handled so badly than about uncovering the truth about the murders though.
I guess it would be a whole lot better if LA had the kind of CSI they show in Vegas, Miami and NY right?
It would be great if the kinds of CSIs shown on TV existed anywhere. Those are straight fiction. Some of the procedures on that show are totally invented. And I've NEVER heard of a criminalist interrogating anyone. Our criminalist is not a peace officer and does not wear a gun. Most don't. She doesn't drive a Hummer, either. Every time I see her, I asker when the chief is going to buy her a Hummer. I just get "the look".
I love CSI, I think forensics is fascinating, even if the shows are totally fake. The husband refuses to watch the Miami CSI, he can’t stand the redheaded guy and the way he talks. He always sounds like he’s doing Shakespeare even though he’s only asking what time it is. It also totally bugs him that the guy ALWAYS has his head tilted, like he thinks this is more dramatic lol.
I doubt they’d try OJ for perjury. Perjury doesn’t carry a long enough sentence for it to be with it. I mean, really, he was found guilty of murder in civil court and he’s still playing golf.
He just needs to get hit by a car (how very un-Christian like of me). I can’t help it. Everyone knows he did it, with the exception of the jury perhaps. I can’t believe some wacko hasn’t taken him out yet. But then again, being a sports star goes a long way. There’s apparently nothing a super-jock can’t get away with. Just makes me sick. But don’t get me started on how this country worships its athletes…
Oh, go ahead and start about athletes. I'll chime right in. It's disgraceful.
Yes, the redheaded guy, David Caruso, who plays Lt. Caine on CSI Miami, is apparently carried away with himself. The hub and I mimic him all the time. He declaims EVERY LINE, as if it were a PSA or something. I don't know if he's just into the character or a shitty actor. But, even though I know they're all three a total wheelbarrow full of horse hockey, I like all three of the CSI shows. My favorite though is the original one, CSI. The hub has the hots for the one who plays Callie Duquesne on CSI Miami. Okay, he has the lukewarms, which is pretty much what you get with 62 year old guys.
Strangely, reality tells us that there aren't the Matlocks or Columbos fighting crime.
I'll admit I don't follow tv much, David Caruso gives me the feeling that he's such a putz and an overactor. So much so it makes you yell "please please stop the acting".
"I have had profiling, so maybe that made a difference. I don't know. But the murders were about hate."
As far as OJ, it was a crime of passion (and not so much hate as in hate-crime). Most likely his ego couldn't handle the rejection that Nicole handed him the last time which sent him into a blind rage where he stalked her and then commited the murder.
And I doubt given these two's history of beatings and "forgive me and come back", it would have ended any other way unless she left the country and went under-the-radar. That dynamic between the two and living in the same city & circles just ensured the ending.
You know, I understand crime of passion. People snap. But I think OJ has seriously gone insane since the murders. He’s an absolute sociopath.
Sociopathic characteristics:
not learning from experience
no sense of responsibility
inability to form meaningful relationships
inability to control impulses
lack of moral sense
chronically antisocial behavior
no change in behavior after punishment
emotional immaturity
lack of guilt
self-centeredness
Mystery solved. But that doesn’t explain the willingness of people to continue to give him attention. The woman who is publishing his book and the people who are going to buy it, what’s their excuse?

That and they drink from the same well methinks.
Excellent point Alex. These people are all taking up space on my planet!
I think to some degree all murders are hate crimes.
