Bush hasn't decided what to do with troops in IraqPresident Bush said Monday he isn't ready to decide between rival calls to increase or scale back U.S. troops in Iraq.
Awaiting the results of a Pentagon review and recommendations from a special commission exploring Iraq options, Bush refused to tip his hand about any change in the level of American forces in Iraq, now at more than 140,000.
"I haven't made any decisions," Bush said while traveling in Indonesia. A decision to decide is expected shortly…

Hey. It's a big week. The Preznit is having flashbacks with whether to pardon Tom Turkey or not. He can't find his pen it seems.
And this wasn't the only news either. President Bush Nabbed In Effort to Alter Own Wikipedia Entry.
Of course the history books will tell another story. (Pssst...read George's inner most thoughts here.
Isn't that carrying Wikiality a bit too far? Steven Colbert hasn't been able to get away with it either, all the things he's tried to change have been caught also.
Well, I suppose I should add a disclaimer about Avant News ( think Avant News = The Onion ).
The home page also has some interesting articles. ;)
For example, Bush Declares "Mission Accomplished" in 2006 House, Senate Midterm Elections.
I love Avant News. And as far as Wikipedia goes, I’ll tell you what I told Shooter the other night. Just like the old saying “I wouldn’t join a club that would have someone like me for a member”, I wouldn’t use an encyclopedia that would use someone like me for an editor.
Well good thing Wikipedia has a substantial review process then isn't it? It seems to be a misunderstanding that has blown up into a myth that anyoen can put anything on Wikipedia and it was stay there.
Just as someone like Shooter can be an editor, someone like Stephen Hawking can correct it for him too, that way you get the best of all worlds many hands doing a large project like that make light work. The same as when you have an Apache putting in your track ligthing and you sign the check to him made out to Many Hands *wicked grin*
I think it's good Bush hasn't decided. Last time he decided something about Iraq, it didn't work out well. He should probably leave the deciding to someone else. Hey wait, he already does - De Facto Prez Cheney.
Maybe one of the Democrats will invite Dick to go hunting. If not, we can call Buffy the Vampire Slayer and tell her to bring her stake.
Btw, here's a couple of pieces. An opinion piece on the draft and a research piece on the economy.
Real estate is always cyclical. The cycle of boom/bust is typical. What's interesting to me is that the housing bust has not yet touched Texas. We are still in a boom cycle except for a couple of areas that seem to always be in a recession. Obviously, the national trend will catch up with us, but I think it will be slower than in other places. What I don't know is if it will be as severe or not.
I like the way lays it out.
...So, the housing recession is now becoming a construction recession; and the construction recession is now turning into a clear auto and manufacturing recession; and the manufacturing recession will soon turn into a retail recession..."
For real estate, I'm not sure if it's a regional or national trend.
