Gore to Bush on Iraq: It's Not About You
Calling the Iraq war "the worst strategic mistake in the entire history of the United States" and "worse than a civil war," former Vice President Gore urged President Bush to find a way to get U.S. troops out of Iraq "as quickly as possible without making the situation worse" while appearing this morning on NBC's "Today."

Wouldn't it be nice if a sitting office-holder would tell the truth once in a while. I think if a candidate would come along and be brutally honest about things, he/she would be elected in a snap.
I'm hoping against hope that that person will be Obama.
Cait, weren't you listening? He did tell the truth....and he was elected (twice). He told you he didn't read. He told you his record was 100% consistant....not a success to be found.(no flip-flopper, he) He told you education was for sissies, weenies....and Democrats. He had his "gut." And he told you he had no use for activist judges.(like the ones who gave us the civil rights laws of the 60's.) He had his daddy.
My God, Cait where were you? The media told you all you had to know. This Connecticut ne're-do-well, this clinical idiot, this draft dodging deserter, walked in a swagger with his bow legs, and cleared brush on his ranch. And they certainly asked the tough questions.....who would you rather have a beer "with?"
like.....that's not good enough?
And I believe that was the last time he told the truth!
