I knew there was a reason I loved this guy...

Keith Olbermann and I think alike, except his vocabulary is more impressive. I love a man with a big vocabulary. He may be more eloquent, but Keith mirrored what I said in the post below about Bush’s speech last night. Actually, the fact that he said almost the exact same thing in many instances makes me uncomfortable. It means I’m not off the mark with this uneasy feeling of dread. I think there are events of catastrophic proportions in our near future.

Keith: Only this President could extol the "thoughtful recommendations of the Iraq Study Group," and then take its most far-sighted recommendation — "engage Syria and Iran" - and transform it into "threaten Syria and Iran" — when Al-Qaeda would like nothing better than for us to threaten Syria, and when President Ahmmadinejad would like nothing better than to be threatened by us.

And to Iran and Syria — and, yes, also to the insurgents in Iraq — we must look like a country, run by the equivalent of the drunken pest, who gets battered to the floor of the saloon by one punch, then staggers to his feet, and shouts at the other guy's friends, "ok, which one of you is next?"

Time to Escort Bush From the Casino?

Kansas said...

Excellent article, Alex. Escorting him out of the casino is a much more amusing way to put it than beating him to death with a flagpole and then impeaching him.

I believe he should not only be escorted out of the casino, but he should then be escorted INTO a padded cell.

What Bush Really Said By PAUL CRAIG ROBERTS.

The Amish play an important part of this new Iraq strategy.
Jon Stewart TDS.

Paul Craig Roberts is one of my favorites, and he’s scaring the bejeesas out of me. I read this article three times and I think he hit the nail on the head. I think Bush has just successfully started WWIII.

The only bet left is who uses nukes on Iran and/or Syria first...the US or Israel.

Something tells me that maybe the (misplaced) world view of sympathy for Israel will be replaced with the same view the world had for Germany after Hitler and currently has for the US...that of warmongers and oppressors.

That's why Israel's nickname in many places of the world is "USrael".

I bet we tag-team 'em.

Yep. I like Olbermann and Stewart and Colbert much better than Bill O'rally.
